3 Porcelain coffee cups with saucer, glazed, two decorated in colors, Height of cups from 8,3 to 9,2 cm, saucers from 14,5 to 17 cm diameter and 20 x 11 cm resp.. Very good condition.

Provenance: Private collection, Offenbach am Main.


The cups of van der Vaart and Yang with the printed signature on the bases and in the decoration. All cups with the Rosenthal mark.

Jan van der Vaart (1931-2000)

The Dutch ceramist Johannes Jacobus (Jan) van der Vaart, born in The Hague, is one of the most influential ceramists of the 20th century. His work is characterized by clear, geometric forms.

Yang (1953)

Born in 1953, the designer has been working for the Rosenthal Studio Line since 1993.

Paul Wunderlich (1927-2010)

The German painter, draftsman, graphic artist and sculptor Paul Wunderlich studied from 1947 to 1951 at the Kunsthochschule Hamburg with Willi Tietze and Willem Grimm. In his extensive oeuvre, the artist developed a neosurrealistic style with erotic and mythological themes.
