Each with Anderson’s printed signature. Each marked “Crown Ducal / Made in England / REGD NO. / 784158” on the base.

Condition: Good condition consistent with age. The glaze overall with slight crazing. One plate with a spot of glue on the back.

From a set of 6 plates in which elegant woman present the typical drinks of the time.

Clarence William Anderson was born in 1891 in Wahoo, Nebraska. He became known as illustrator and author. His favorite subject were horses. He died in 1971.

Crown Ducal is a trademark of the English porcelain manufactory A.G. Richardson used since 1916.
