The 7 plates each in white paper cover and together with title sheets, imprint and edition notes in natural wood portfolio box with sliding cover.

Condition: Very good condition.


Born in Bolivia in 1925, the son of a Swiss and a Bolivian, Eugen Gomringer studied economics and art history in Bern and Rome. He published in 1954 the founding manifesto of Concrete Poetry and is considered one of its most important representatives. He writes his poems in German, Swiss German, Spanish, English and French. Gomringer lives and works in the Franconian town of Rehau.

Jo Enzweiler, born in 1934 in Saarland, is one of the representatives of Concrete Art. From 1956 to 1961 he studied painting and art education in Munich, Toulon, Aix-en-Provence and Saarbrücken. From 1988 he was founding rector of the College of Fine Arts Saar, where he taught until 1999 as a professor. Jo Enzweiler lives and works in Saarbrücken and Wallerfang.
