The Roman-born Piero Dorazio was a representative of Concrete Art. In his works – paintings, prints, stained-glass windows, ceramics – he investigated the optical potential of light and color. He was a member of the Milan artist group “Movimento per l’arte concreta” and took part in both documenta II (1959) and documenta III (1964). He died in Perugia in 2005.
