Condition: Sheets partially creased, some with tears and sharp creases, the edges with tiny nicks, smaller paper losses and buckling. One sheet with v-shaped split (2.5 x 3 cm) in the upper image area.


The German painter, photographer and sound artist Walter Dahn was born in 1954 in St. Tönis, Lower Rhine. He completed his studies at the Düsseldorf Art Academy in 1979 as a master student of Joseph Beuys. Subsequently, he was a member of the Mühlheimer Freiheit artist group and became one of the most important representatives of the Neue Wilden and the figurative painting of the 1980s Since 1996, Walter Dahn teaches as a professor at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Braunschweig. He lives and works in Cologne.
